Castlereagh. For sale at $5.5 million

Trucking industry veterans, Pam and Albert Hunt, of Hunt Specialised Transport, are asking $5.5 million for their Huntington Estate, at Castlereagh. The house on the 4-hectare property on the banks of the Hawkesbury-Nepean River, has five bedrooms, parking space for 20 cars. There is also a 3-bedroom cottage.

Parramatta. RSL club wins award

Parramatta RSL has won the Outstanding Financial Management award in the medium club category at the 2011 ClubsNSW Awards for Excellence. The club won the award for maximising efficiency in utilising resources and obtaining a higher profitability. The club’s board turned around its failing business model in three years after amalgamating with Castle Hill RSL, in 2008. By reducing production costs, rebranding and streamlining finance and operations to reflect the Castle Hill RSL Club business model, they achieved a high level of efficiency.

Rydalmere. Symbion site for sale

A 35,370-square-metre site office/warehouse in Rydalmere, occupied by Symbion Pharmacy, in a 24,457-square-metre building, is for sale. Symbion has a 7-year lease. Net rental is $3179,280 per annum. Tenders close on July 21.
