Parramatta. ParraSync card ready to go
Parramatta City Council plans to role out by Christmas its ParraSync card which allows users to access shops, library facilities and car parks, with the help of its partners, STMircoelectronics and SGS Technologie Australia and an unnamed foreign player, according to The Australian Financial; Review. Council’s corporate group services group manager, Greg Smith, said the program – which has attracted international awards and attention – first started as a way to revive local businesses that were suffering in the shadows of one of Australia’s biggest shopping complexes, Westfield Parramatta. Mr Smith said around 200 businesses are registered to use the card.
