Parramatta. Deloitte's new partner

David Hagger has been appointed a corporate finance partner, in Deloitte Australia’s Western Sydney office, in Parramatta. Mr Hagger is the first financial advisory services partner in the Western Sydney office. His appointment as a partner completes the firm’s tax and advisory team in Western Sydney.” Mr Hagger has worked in the company’s Canberra and Western Sydney offices for the past two years.

Parramatta. Acquisition of legal firm

Parramatta legal firm, Coleman Greig, will acquire the Parramatta-based property and commercial practice of White & Halbert. Tom Halbert and Jolan Cikos will join the firm, expanding the property and finance team. This is the second acquisition for Coleman Greig, in 2012. The company acquired the Parramatta-based legal firm Robilliard & Robilliard, in January. Managing principal, Peter Stewart, is “excited” at the prospect of further building upon the property law expertise that already exists within the firm.

Parramatta. Serviced offices

Servcorp Pty Ltd has lodged a DA with Parramatta City Council for the occupation and fitout of level 15, as serviced offices, in the 19-level Eclipse Tower building, at 60 Station Street, at a cost of $1.1 million. The company currently has serviced offices in The Octagon.

Parramatta. Outside dining in laneway

Frank Nohra has applied to Parramatta City Council for the modification to an approved restaurant, at 315 Church Street, in the eat-street precinct. The modifications include: provision of an outdoor dining area containing 24 chairs within Oyster Lane, placement of an awning above the outdoor dining area in Oyster Lane and the reduction in external window sizes.
