North West. Major briefing on rail link

Premier Barry O’Farrell and Transport Minister Gladys Berejiklian addressed the first major industry brifing for the NorthWest Rail Link, which is estimated to cost between $6 billion and $8 billion. The briefing attracted more than 300 representatives from construction and engineering companies, financiers, accounting and law firms.

Parramatta. Tenders for events

Parramatta City Council is inviting tenders from providers of equipment and services to form a panel of suppliers capable of providing a range of equipment and services, and concert management for public events. Council has also called for organistaions looking for sponsorship partnerships in irs range of events in 2011-12.

Norwest. Company on the move

Crowe Horwath's Norwest team of 40 tax, audit and business advisors, including six principals, will move into the Atlas building, the newest addition to the Norwest Business Park, from Monday, August 1.The company will be joining Virgin Active Gymnasium as the first tenants in the new building located at the northern entrance to the park on the corner of Norwest Boulevard and Windsor Road.
