Parramatta. Tenders declined

Parramatta City has declined all tenders for the Lennox Bridge Car Park project and will enter into negotiations with selected group/s. The project, between Marsden and Church streets, called for high quality residential apartments overlooking the Parramatta River. As part of the development, council required facilities in the form of a “discovery centre”, multi-functional spaces, associated retail and public domain. Reasons for not calling new tenders included time and cost and the “unique nature of the subject matter of the tender”.

Parramatta. Tenders for events

Parramatta City Council is inviting tenders from providers of equipment and services to form a panel of suppliers capable of providing a range of equipment and services, and concert management for public events. Council has also called for organistaions looking for sponsorship partnerships in irs range of events in 2011-12.

Region. Call for tenders

The Department of Corrective Services, which operates a number of industries in its correctional centres, has called for expressions of interest for the private sector to submit proposals to utilise the productive capacity of these facilities. The Roads and Traffic Authority is inviting tenders for the fabrication and construction of an 18 car vehicular ferry to operate on the Sackville crossing of the Hawkesbury River.

Region. Tenders are called

Parramatta City Council has tenders for the improvement of the streetscape of South Street, between William and Mary streets, in stage two of the Granville Town Centre upgrade. Interlink Roads Pty Ltd has called for expressions of interest for landscaping works along the M5 South West Motorway for a minimum of a one-year period, with the option for extension.

Region. Tenders called

The Department of Planning has called for tenders for the preparation of a plan of management for the 27-kilometre long Western Sydney Parklands corridor. The Penrith-based Sydney Catchment Authority seeks to obtain the services of a panel of testing laboratories for the analysis for cryptosporidium and giardia on routine and non-routine water and sediment samples.

Region. NSW Govt tenders

Tenders are invited for heritage conservation works in the Neates Glenn section of the Grand Canyon Walking Track, in the Blue Mountains National Park. Work includes stoner and timber steps, stone walling, drains, stepping stones and barrier fencing. Work in is a remote canyon site in a bushland environment with no vehicle access. Tenders are also called for an extension of the existing Windsor Station Bus Interchange, a carpark, retaining walls and roadworks.

Tenders called for council's major events

Parramatta City Council has called for tenders for the development of entertainment, infrastructure and concert management for two major events, namely, Australia Day and Riverbeats. The contract will be for three years, with two one-year extensions. Tenders close on June 3.
