Bankstown. $45 million Sydney Water project

Brookfield Multiplex is expected to commence construction of a $45 million warehouse and office facility for Sydney Water on the Potts Hill reservoir site’s eastern precinct early this year. Some 250 construction workers will be needed to complete the project. The number of Sydney Water operational staff based on site will increase by 115 to around 450. “This is a boost for local employment and the construction industry in this area,” said MP for Auburn, Barbara Perry. She said the project would transform part of the historic Potts Hill reservoir site into a state-of-the-art field headquarters with a minimum five-star green rating.
