Gledswood Hills. Japanese style houses

Japanese building giant, Sekisui House, is displaying two new houses built in the Japanese style, at Gledswood Hills. “We hope to build these homes in the eastern suburbs and lower north shore,” said sales and marketing manager, Paul Wainwright. Sekisui House entered Australia in 2009 by buying the contract housing division of AV Jennings.

Sydney Olympic Park. Million bucks apartments

Following the successful launch of stage one of its Australia Towers development in Sydney Olympic Park, the 25-metre high, 207-unit tower is set to launch the second stage of a three- stage project, including 14 four-bedroom units ranging from between $995,000 and $1.76 million. Stage one of the development, which is now complete, has sold 209 of the 216 apartments.

Region. Shopping centre results

Shopping centre giant Westfield, one of Australia’s biggest retail landlords, reported a strong 2011 to December 31. The total annual sales at Parramatta were $713 million, down 2 per cent over 2011.; Penrith’s sales were $583 million, an increase of 1 per cent; Macquarie recorded sales of $507 million, down 3 per cent; Liverpool/s sales were $456 million, up0.9 per cent; Mt Druitt’s sales were $379 million, up 2.5 per cent; and North Rocks had sales of $144 million, up 0.7 per cent.
