Tenders called for Visy Cares building in Fairfield
Fairfield City Council has called for tenders for the construction of the Visy Cares Centre Fairfield, a two-storey, at the corner of Kenyon and Barbara streets, in the Fairfield CBD. The centre, a joint partnership between council, the Department of Community Services, the Federal Department of Transport and Regional Services and the Visy Cares Trust, will be a “one stop s to service the needs of young people living in and around Fairfield. Visy Cares works with the community to develop projects such as youth centres, information and library facilities, and school improvements for disadvantaged groups. Visy has major recycling, pulp and paper, cardboard manufacturing and other activities in Smithfield.
