Parramatta. New city identity

Lord Mayor, Lorriane Wearne, will launch the city’s new identity, in the Parramatta Town Hall, on September 3.”This identity will help us build an exciting and sustainable future for our residents, our workers, our partners and our visitors,“ council said.

Ryde. Up the top

Perth has now been named as the capital of the nation's digital boom in Google’s inaugural Australian “eTown Awards" ahead of Yarra in Victoria, Adelaide in South Australia and North Sydney and Ryde in NSW. The awards ranked 600 communities on their online business activities.

Liverpool. Reunion ceremony

The Ingham Institute will host a reunion ceremony, on September 5, with the original South West Area Health Service occupants of a building, known as Rainbow Cottage, which was demolished for the construction of the Ingham Institute’s new research building A sandstone arch, which has heritage significance, has been retained as part of the new building. Completion of the new research building marks the first stage of the research precinct at Liverpool Hospital. The Prime Minister is expected to official open the institute in October.
