Region. Opportunities for aerospace industry
The Parramatta-based Regional Development Australia (RDA) Sydney held a meeting, in Bankstown, on the opportunities for NSW manufacturers in the defence and aerospace industry and the issues it faces. “Tackling many of these issues requires innovative and collaborative thinking and a better understanding of the potential industry capabilities,” said RDA Sydney’s executive officer, Bob Germaine, in the November issue of the organisation’s newsletter, Catalyst. “It is imperative that we act now to bring together a more collaborative aerospace and defence industry within metropolitan Sydney, which supports the attraction of more national and international business opportunities and jobs to NSW.
