Quakers Hill. $57 million investment
Construction has begun at the Quakers Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant as part of a $57 million investment to reduce wet weather overflows. Sydney Water MD, Kevin Young, said the community was set to benefit from the works, which will significantly improve the operations of the network and plant during wet weather. The Quakers Hill upgrade is expected to be complete by mid-2013.
