Parramatta City Council has advertised for a manager, communication and marketing, with a salary range of $91,772-$106,382, to develop the communication and marketing initiatives to promote council’s activities with internal and external stakeholders.

St Marys. EOI for 30-hectare site

Expressions of interest have been called for a site of 30-hectares gross, situated in the St Marys industrial area, which has a DA in place for a seven “superlot” subdivision. The site is within 10 minutes drive of the M4/M7 motorway exchange.

Arndel Park. Contract causes consternation

Eastern Nomad Buildings, at Arndell Park and Kings Park, has a NSW Government contract to build 50 of the 162 preferred libraries for NSW schools. The remainder will be built in Victoria. Several specialist companies in NSW said they could have done the job cheaper and quicker but were not offered the work.

Katoomba. Best in Ausrtalia

The 3.5-star Three Sisters Motel, in Katoomba, has had the hits on its website boosted fivefold since being nominated as the best value hotel in Australia, by London’s Sunday Times Travel Magazine. It was placed among the three best value hotels in the Asia-Pacific region.
