Grants to council
Parramatta City Council's annual report noted the securing of a $1.9 million grant over three years to fund group of councils to work together to sustain the Parramatta River, and a $1.3 million NSW Environmental Trust Sustainability Grant over three years for the Camellia and Silverwater industrial areas.
Baulkham Hills sale
An undisclosed local investor has purchased a property at 7-11 Railway Street, for $5.7 million. The property comprises 1818 square metres of office space which is about 95 per cent leased to 12 tenants, providing a net income of $464,000 a year. Agents CB Richard Ellis said the property attracted interest from interstate buyers.

All DA for new development in the Parramatta City Centre will be subjected to the Parramatta City Centre Development Control Plan 2007 to be made available on Friday, December 21. It can be viewed online at http://www.parracity.nsw.gov.au/
