Region. Push to persuade Premier

A group of federal Coalition MPs has begun a behind-the-scenes to persuade Premier Barry, O’Farrell, to drop his opposition to a second airport in the Sydney basin, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

Region. 2147 is top solar postcode

Suburbs in the Blacktown local government area have the highest concentration of solar panels in the metropolitan area. The city’s top solar postcode is 2147, covering Seven Hills, Seven Hills West, Lalor Park and Kings Langley. About 18 per cent of people in the area have rooftop panels, placing it seventh on the NSW list of solar-powered communities, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
