Parramatta. Tenders declined

Parramatta City has declined all tenders for the Lennox Bridge Car Park project and will enter into negotiations with selected group/s. The project, between Marsden and Church streets, called for high quality residential apartments overlooking the Parramatta River. As part of the development, council required facilities in the form of a “discovery centre”, multi-functional spaces, associated retail and public domain. Reasons for not calling new tenders included time and cost and the “unique nature of the subject matter of the tender”.
