Bankstown. Airport is the busiest in Australia

Bankstown Airport, with 308,666 movements to October 2008, is the busiest airport in Australia and one of the busiest in the southern hemisphere. Although growth in 2008 would not reach double digits as it has been over the previous two years, the facility is ahead of both Jandakot (WA) and Moorabbin (Vic) airports, also recording just over 300,000 movements, a spokesperson said.
