Parramatta. Another pub for the CBD

T.N.T. Investment has lodged an application with Parramatta City Council for approval to change the status of the Port, Restaurant, Cafe, at the Charles Street RiverCat wharf, from a restaurant to a pub, called the Port Bar Restaurant. Council has already granted approval for the installation of a boutique brewery. The application seeks to install gaming machines. The application is on public exhibition until September 17.

Fairfield. Recycled effluent for industry

Aqua Net and Veolia Water Australia will build and operate a water-recycling plant, at Fairfield, to reclaim 4.3 billion litres of effluent, having secured the $100 million Rosehill-Camellia Water Recycling Scheme contract. Some 4.3 litres of effluent from Fairfield and Liverpool treatment plants will be recycled and piped to industrial users.
