North Ryde. Award for stations

Minister for Transport, John Robertson, unveiled the prestigious Sulman Award Medal for outstanding architecture at Macquarie University Station .The award is part of the Australian Institute of Architects’ 2010 NSW Architecture Awards. It was awarded to HASSALL architects for their ground-breaking design of North Ryde, Macquarie Park and Macquarie University stations.

Sydney Olympic Park. Projects acknowledged

New projects at Sydney Olympic Park were last night recognised at the prestigious
The Armory Wharf Precinct on the Parramatta River won the Architecture Award in the Urban Design category of the Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter Architecture Awards. The Armory Wharf Cafe building took out the top award in the Commercial Architecture category, and the park’s new town centre, Jacaranda Square, received a Commendation in the Urban Design category.
