Region. EOI in bookstores

Ferrier Hodgson has called for expressions of interest for the Borders, Angus & Robertson stores and other Australia-based businesses owned by REDgroup Retail Ltd, which is in voluntary administration. The company, which had bookstores across Western Sydney, has closed its Borders outlet, in Rouse Hill, and the Angus & Robertson store, in Liverpool.

Region. EOI called for REDgroup's stores

Administrator, Ferrier Hodgson, has called for expressions of interest in the collapsed REDgroup’s remaining 103 Borders and Angus and Robertson stores around Australia. Borders store at Rouse Hill and the Angus and Roberston outlet in Liverpool have closed.

Region. Bookstores to close

Administrators Ferrier Hodgson have closed a number of Borders and Angus and Robertson stores across Australia, operated by RedGroup Retail, including the Borders’ store in Rouse Hill, and the Angus and Robertson’s outlet in Liverpool.

Region. Stores to close

The collapsed REDGroup – parent of Borders and Angus and Robertson book stores, both of which have outlets across Western Sydney – has debts of $118 million. It has stock worth $119.9 million and $6.4 million in cash. However staff are owed $7.8 million. Ferrier Hodgson's, Steve Sherman, said the first round of store closures would be decided upon early this week.
