Region. Subdued industrial development

CBRE’s latest Sydney Industrial Marketview report forecasts industrial development in Sydney’s central west likely to be subdued in the short term, with the Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre the only major development expected for completion in the next two years. Limited new supply was likely to benefit industrial rental growthwith a moderate recovery forecast over the next 12 months.

Region. Interest in development sites

CB Richard Ellis has sold over $20 million worth of property, in Western Sydney, in the first quarter of 2010. Population growth in the area, low vacancy rates Sydney wide and returning liquidity were driving developer purchases of sites zoned for residential use, the company said.
