Blue Mountains. Community Cabinet meets

NSW Premier & Minister for Western Sydney, Barry O'Farrell, said his Community Cabinet would be held, at Springwood, Monday, March 19. A discussion will be held on Regional Action Plan for Western Sydney. The plan will align with NSW 2021, the state’s ten-year plan to rebuild the economy, return quality services, renovate infrastructure, strengthen our local environment and communities, and restore accountability to government.

Rtde. Western Sydney MP in Cabinet

Victor Dominello, who turned the former Labor seat of Ryde into one of the safest Liberal seats, will be Mr O'Farrell's only western Sydney MP in his cabinet despite the Liberals gaining a record 11 western Sydney seats. Mr Dominello will be Minister for Citizenship and Communities and Aboriginal Affairs, while Mr O'Farrell has given himself the Western Sydney portfolio, a ministry that has traditionally been held by an MP from the western suburbs.
