Parramatta. DA approved for gym

Aust & NZ International Investment Group Pty Ltd has had a DA approved for tree removal and alterations/additions including the construction of a gym and deck. Approval is also sought to use the deck as a café, to the Clarion on the Park hotel, in Anderson Street in the CBD.

Parramatta. Application refused

Parramatta City Council has refused a DA for the demolition and construction of a 10-storey mixed-use development, at 5 Hunter Street, in the Parramatta CBD, containing commercial tenancies and 46 residential apartments.

Parramatta. DA for 24-storey building

Archtex has lodged a DA, on behalf of owners, for the demolition of a two-storey building, at 29 Hunter Street, (on the corner of O’ Connell Street) and the construction of a 24-storey mixed use building with 108 units, retail and basement parking. The estimated cost of the project: $34.5 million

Parramatta. DA for $51.9 million project

Parramatta City Council has received a DA for a staged commercial/retail development on two lots, at 142 Macquarie Street, Parramatta, the current site of the Cumberland Newspaper Group, publisher of the Parramatta Advertiser. The capital investment of the proposal is $51.9 million. The DA will go on public exhibition on March 30 until April 20.

Parramatta. DA approved for CBD project

Parramatta City Council has approved a DA for alterations and additions to a commercial building, on the north west corner of George and Church streets, in the Parramatta CBD, including the construction of a 4- storey addition fronting Free Masons Arms Lane.
