Parramatta. Site works commence

Work is underway on the site of the 20-storey Eclipse office tower, on the corner of Station and Hassall streets, opposite the Commercial Hotel, in the Parramatta CBD. A formal announcement by the developer, Leighton Properties, is expected soon.

New $160m office tower the Parramatta CBD

Joint venture partners, Leighton Holdings and Grosvenor, propose to build a $160 million, 20-storey tower of 25,000 square metres of commercial office space, according to a report in The Australian Financial Review. The proposed building, at 60 Station Street, is opposite the Commercial Hotel and close to Parramatta station. Called Eclipse, the building was the product of a design competition, the first of its kind in Parramatta.
