Campbelltown. $139 million hospital upgrade

The NSW government has unveiled its plans for a $139-million upgrade of Campbelltown Hospital. A multi-storey building will be built and maternity services and the emergency department will be expanded. Premier Barry O’Farrell said work on the upgrade will start in May. He said almost one million people would be living in the area within four years.

Campbelltown. $194 million upgrade

The NSW government will fund a $194.3 million upgrade of Campbelltown Hospital and expansion of the Campbelltown Mental Health Service.The project will see the hospital, one of the busiest in the Sydney region, will receive $129.7 million for a new building and reconfiguration of existing facilities. The health service will receive $64.6 million for a major upgrade. The redevelopment is expected to deliver capacity for around 160 additional beds across the two facilities.
