Rouse Hill. Town centre one of top five

The Rouse Hill town centre has been named as one of the five best new developments in the world in the Urban Land Institute's 2010 global awards for excellence. The centre was developed by the GPT Group and Lend Lease, and includes 220 retailers, 104 apartments, 2800 square metres of office space, 10 restaurants and a cinema. The masterplan was prepared by Civitas Urban Design and Planning with the Department of Planning and Landcom. Three architectural firms handled design - Allen Jack+Cottier, Group GSA and Rice Daubney. The centre has won the Lloyd Rees Award for Urban Design, from the Australian Institute of Architects, and two awards from the Property Council of Australia.

Rouse Hill. Group wins two awards

Lend Lease/GPT - The New Rouse Hill has won two awards at the Planning Institute Australia’s National Awards, held in Canberra. The award categories were: Social and Community Based Planning Award and Presidents Overall Award.
