North Ryde. Office space absorption

Knight Frank research shows absorption for the first half of 2010 in the NorthRyde/Macquarie Park market was 17,960 square metres, helping drive vacancy down, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. The Property Council of Australia’s report for the six months to July showed the vacancy rate for the precinct was down from 12.1 per cent to 11.3 per cent.

North Ryde. Doubling of office space

The challenge is to turn an agglomeration of business parks, university buildings and ageing industrial facilities, chocked by traffic congestion, in the North Ryde/Macquarie Park area, into a leading office precinct, which currently contains about 1.2 million square metres of office space, and which could more than double over the long-term, said The Australian Financial Review.
