Parramatta. EOI to create a short list

Parramatta City Council has called for expressions of interest to generate a shortlist of suppliers capable of providing a broad range on innovative applications and devices that will enable council to benefit from the digital economy, including kiosk-type devices and applications to digital token devices and wireless CCTV cameras. Council is extending the EOI for business to participate in an advisory and support role to the ParraConnect Program.

Parramatta. Launch of ParraConnect program

The federal Minister for Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy, Stephen Conroy, will launch the ParraConnect program, at the Riverside Theatres next week. The program, promoted by Lord Mayor Paul Garrard, is an ongoing initiative enabling businesses, community groups, government stakeholders and residents to capitalise on the growth of emerging connective technologies. “The ParraConnect and its driving body, the ParraConnect Partnership, is an alliance of community leadership groups," said Cr Garrard.
