Parramatta. Continuing partnership

Parramatta Lord Mayor, Lorraine Wearne, is looking forward to a continuing partnership with the state government following positive talks with the NSW Premier, Barry O’Farrell. The pair met to discuss the future role of Parramatta and how it could best serve the wider growth of Sydney as part of the government’s long-term NSW 2021 strategy. “Key to the future growth of our state is Sydney’s west - and Parramatta as the gateway to this wider region will play a vital role in the provision of employment, social and recreational options,” Mr O’Farrell said.
