G M Architects has lodged a DA with Parramatta City Council for the construction of a 9-storey mixed use with ground floor office & commercial space, 3 levels of basement car parking and comprising 72 residential dwellings, at 2 Sorrell Street. Estimated Cost:.$17.5 million.

Parramatta. Auction of historic building

The former Commonwealth Bank building, at 215-217 Church Street, in the Parramatta CBD is to be auctioned on May 31. The two-storey building of 1377 square metres will be offered with vacant possession. The property was initially the site of St Andrews Presbyterian Church until 1925 when it was sold to the bank and relocated to Wentworthville. Over the years the building served as a bank, used as a pancakes outlet and a record store. A DA was approved, in 2008, for a hotel on the site, which is currently used as a fashion shop.

Parramatta Leagues Club has sold a property with a net lettable area of 600 square metres, at Level 1, 50 O’Connell Street, North Parramatta, for $3.175 million, to an owner-occupier.

Parramatta. Property on the market

The Lang Centre, an asset of Centuria Property Funds, in the Parramatta CBD, is on the market. The building is substantially leased to the NSW government which occupies 88 per cent of the property until November, 2015. The building is on a 3088-square-metre site on the corner of Marsden and Hunter streets.

Parramatta City Council is considering an application, lodged by Vince Bilotta, for the construction of a 12 storey mixed use development with 88 dwellings, at 184 George Street, Parramatta. Estimated cost of work: $18.6 million.

An undisclosed private investor has purchased 248 Church Street Mall, in the Parramatta CBD, for $19.55 million. The 4348-square-metre property has been purchased from CFT No.2 Pty Ltd and Lilac Pty Ltd.

Parramatta. Large property on the market

A major L-shaped mixed-use block in the Parramatta CBD core is for sale with expressions of interest closing on September 22, through Jones Lang LaSalle. Parramatta. Property sold for $4.1 million

Mo Ko Enterprises has paid Henry Wong and James Chiu $4.1 million for a two-storey mixed-use property on the south-east corner of Church and George streets, in the Parramatta CBD. Tenants include Tax Tips, Vodafone, Glamour Hair and 7-Eleven. Anthony Khoury and George Khoury, from Khoury & Partners, negotiated the deal.

Parramatta. Approval for 23 storeys

Parramatta City Council has approved a DA, lodged by H S D (Parra) Pty Limited, for a mixed-use building, at 9 Hassall Street, in the Parramatta CBD, to increase the height of the building to 23 storeys to provide a total of 164 units. The initial DA was for a 17-storey building.
