Plans for strategic site in the CBD

Council proposes to publicly exhibit and invite all relevant property owners within the block bounded by Church, Phillip and Smith streets and the Parramatta River, in the CBD to discuss a draft urban design framework for the block, in which council owns a substantial parcel of land. Key objectives include activating the river frontage, increasing pedestrian access, continue provision of public parking and encourage opportunities for the right balance of commercial, residential, retail and cultural development.
