Sydney Olympic Park. Authority wins award

Sydney Olympic Park Authority has been recognised for championing sustainability in education, after receiving the Corporate Award for Excellence in the Learning for Sustainability 2012 Awards of Excellence.The authority received the award in conjunction with the NSW Department of Education and Communities and the University of Western Sydney for its innovation in the delivery of the 2011 Youth Eco Summit.

After a national bidding process, Sydney Olympic Park will be the home of the Australian Event Awards for the next three years. The winning bid pipped venues and destinations from around Australia as the most suitable place for the events industry to gather for the Australian Event Awards presentation, in October each year through to 2012. Sydney Olympic Park hosts more than 2,500 business events every year
