The Minister for Small Business, Frank Terenzini, said the Advanced Manufacturing Centre, at the Australian Technology Park, has received $20,000 to deliver the Small Business Mentoring Program in Western Sydney. “The objective of the Business Mentoring Program is to improve business development, networking and growth opportunities for NSW small businesses,” he said.

More than 300 events to help start, manage and grow a business will be held during Small Business September, across NSW. A number will be held in Parramatta: Sept 3, 4, 5 – Opportunities in Canada, the USA and Latin America; Sept 4, 23 – Starting out, covering the major issues for a new small business; Sept 16 – small business sustainability; Sept 16, 25 – Healthy business, healthy returns; Sept 17, 24 – Government assistance for small businesses; Sept 23 – Parramatta Business & Sustainability Expo, and Negotiation, getting the most from suppliers; Sept 24 – Investing in customer service.
