Parramatta. Sydney Water at ICAC hearing

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has informed Sydney Water, based in Parramatta, that from Monday, September 6, it will be holding hearings into two unrelated matters. The ICAC hearings have come as a result of information Sydney Water provided to the ICAC. Both matters were raised by Sydney Water to the ICAC within 24 hours of Sydney Water becoming aware of allegations about improper conduct of its employees. Through the ICAC investigations, Sydney Water hopes to learn how it might improve its fraud prevention policies. These policies are reviewed regularly.
