Metroland Australia expects to settle soon for the sale of The Mall Wentworthville to Austino Wentworthville Pty Ltd, for $18.3 million.

Expressions of interest in the sale of The Mall Wentworthville close on October 28. The recently refurbished neighbourhood shopping centre with a total GLA of 5467 square metres features a Franklins supermarket, 30 specialty retailers and commercial offices. The centre has an income of approximately $1.7 million annually fully leased. A DA has been approved for 67 residential units and an additional 500 square metres of retail floor space.

Expressions of interest have been called in The Mall Wentworthville, a shopping centre with 5403 square metres of lettable space, on a site of 8951 square metres. Franklins and 38 specialty shops anchor the centre, which has a current net income of $11.8 million annually. A fire broke out in the centre on July 21, 2009, causing. damage of more than $1 million. It re-opened last October. EOI close on June 11, with Colliers International.
