Liverpool. Professional/business workshop

The Parramatta-based RDA Sydney is facilitating a workshop for professional and business services in the Liverpool/Fairfield area, on June 5. The workshop builds on previous meetings on how to best advance economic development in the Liverpool/Fairfield area and how to leverage the existing economic assets. Participants will examine the issues raised at the previous workshop and discuss potential strategies to address these issues so the region develops as a dynamic and growing area.

Norwest. Big turnout for financial workshop

Over 70 key business stakeholders and local government attended the latest in a series of Finance, Property and Professional Business Service Workshops, organised by RDA-Sydney, at the Norwest Crowne Plaza. The workshops aim to boost the level of and employment in the finance, property and professional business service sector in Western Sydney. The Finance, Property and Professional Business Service Sector is lower than what it should be in Western Sydney “There are major opportunities to grow this business support sector in the future, particularly in places like the Norwest,” said Bob Germaine, executive officer, on the Parramatta-based RDA–Sydney. Workshops have taken place in Parramatta, Penrith, Campbelltown and Norwest, with the next at Liverpool on September 28.
