Parramatta. Hotel for sale

The 181-room Courtyard by Marriott Parramatta, in Anderson Street, is for sale by tender. The property, in the southern precinct of the CBD, sits on a 8017-square-metre site and has a 220-vehicle car park. The property is for sale under instructions from S Cathro and D Lombe for an on behalf of HPI Parramatta Pty, receivers and managers appointed, in liquidation and Ce’Nedra Pty Ltd, receivers and managers appointed, in liquidation. Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels is handling the sale.

Parramatta. CBD hotel still for sale

The Courtyard by Marriott hotel, which was up for sale, with similar hotels at North Ryde and Surfers Paradise, last July, is still on the market. The other two properties have been sold for almost $70 million. Failed New Zealand financier, Bridgecorp, jointly owned the three hotels and interests associated with Bridgecorp director, Gary Urwin. Mirvac Wholesale Hotel Fund purchased the North Ryde property for $31 million The Parramatta property is likely to sell for between $18 million and $19 million. It has 181 rooms and has a long-term agreement with Marriott, according to The Australian Financial Review.

North Ryde hotel on the market

The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, at North Ryde, has been put up for sale through CBRE Hotels. New Zealand companies believed to include Real Estate Assets Ltd control the hotel and two others, the Courtyard by Marriott hotels in Parramatta and Surfers Paradise, according to The Australian Financial Review.
