Parramatta. $300 million project underway

Works have commenced on the Crown Group’s $300 million, 25-storey tower on a 4900 square-metre site, on the corner of Macquarie, Marsden and Hunter streets. The project will comprise 370 apartments, 3000 square metres of office space and a further 1200 square metres of retail space.

Apartments are expected to sell from around $350,000 for a one-bedroom studio, $385,000 for a one-bedroom apartment with car space, low $500,000s for a two bedroom, while three bedroom penthouses with panoramic views are expected to sell from over $1 million.
Crown Group bought the site, in the western precinct of the Parramatta CBD, in July 2009 from Becton Property Group for $15 million.

Region. Projects worth $1 billion

Residential Developer, Crown International Holdings Group, is building approximately $1 billion of apartments in the next two years in Parramatta, Rhodes and above the Top Ryde City shopping centre The company has received DA approval for a 25-storey mixed-use, residential, commercial and ground floor retail precinct, at 45 Macquarie Street, in the Parramatta CBD.

The approval was for the development of 370 apartments, 3000 square metres of commercial floor space, 1500 square metres of ground floor retail space. Construction is expected in early 2012. Estimated end value: $300 million. Crown Group acquired the site in July 2009 from Becton Property Group for $15 million.

Parramatta. 26-storey tower approved

The Department of Planning has approved an application by Crown International Holdings for the redevelopment of a site bounded by Macquarie, Marsden and Hunter streets, for its 26-storey mixed use project. Macquarie Place, consisting of 367 residential units, commercial and retail floor space, six levels of basement car parking. The proposal has a capital investment value of $150 million.

Parramatta. Sales office DA

Crown Landmark Pty Ltd has lodged a DA for the construction of a sales office and display suite located on the corner of Macquarie and Marsden Street. Crown International Holdings proposes a 26-storey mixed use development comprising 339 residential units, 1903 square metres of retail space, 5488 square metres of commercial space an six levels of basement parking for 506 vehicles. The building to be known as Macquarie Place, is on a 4879-square-metre site on the corner of Macquarie, Marsden and Hunter streets. The cost of construction is expected to be $200 million.

Top Ryde. Company secures fiancne

Developer, Iwan Sunito’s Crown International Holdings has secured finance to build 500 apartments above the Top Ryde shopping centre, with Commonwealth Bank to fund 100 per cent of the construction costs for the $500 million development, according to The Australian Financial Review. The company has a $1.5 billion pipeline over the next five years including an apartment project in the Parramatta CBD. The project is a 26-storey mixed use development comprising 339 residential units, 1903 square metres of retail space, 5488 square metres of commercial space and six levels of basement parking for 506 vehicles. Region. Crown International activity

Crown International is currently selling between 10 and 20 apartments a month in its 213 unit project at Rhodes, said the company’s CEO, Iwan Sunito. Crown is in final negotiations with John Beville, owner of the Top Ryde shopping centre for the airspace above the centre capable of holding 450 units.

Parramatta. Proposal for 26-storey building

Parramatta City Council will consider, at its meeting on June 28, the endorsement of a submission to the Department of Planning regarding an application by Crown International Holdings Group for the construction of a high-rise residential building, on the corners of Hunter, Marsden and Macquarie streets, in the CBD. Crown proposes to construct a 26-storey mixed-use development comprising 339 residential units, 1903 square metres of retail space, 5488 square metres of commercial space, six levels of basement car parking for 506 vehicles, communal residential amenities including a pool and gym. The application includes a public plaza with a viewing area of archaeological remains on the site.

Region. Crown's interest in the region

Crown International Group has begun marketing its $110 million Sanctum development, at Rhodes, which includes 149 apartments in two buildings, on Homebush Bay, with apartments priced between $480,000 and $1.3m to be completed within 16 months. Chief executive, Iwan Sunito, said he expected demand to be stronger, at Rhodes, than for the Gallery twin-tower, $125 million, 246-apartment complex, in the Parramatta CBD. Crown has sold half of its $130 million Eko, 213-apartment project. in Newington. The group has also recently announced it had purchased a site on the corners of Hunter, Marsden and Macquarie streets, in the Parramatta CBD, for a $200 million development. Crown is believed to be buying the residential component of the $1.1 billion Top Ryde City Shopping Centre project, which includes 425 apartments, in five buildings, with an end value estimated to be about $300 million, according to The Australian. Crown recently sold a 173-square-metre penthouse with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two car spaces, for $805,000, in its Gallery development. The penthouse is one of 12 in the complex.

Parramatta. DA for $220 million tower

Crown International Holdings expects to lodge, in December,.a DA with Parramatta City Council, for a $220 million residential and mixed-use project on the corners of Macquarie, Marsden and Hunter streets, in the western corridor of the CBD. Crown purchased the site from Becton Property Group, in July, for about $15 million. A current DA approval exists for a mixed-use building up to 20 storeys. Crown has a $125 million building of two17-storey towers, with 264 apartments, including 12 penthouses, in Cowper Street, Parramatta. Crown has projects worth more than $225 million under construction at Newington and Rhodes.

Parramatta. $120 million project 'topped out'

Federal Attorney General Robert McClelland attended the “topping out” ceremony to mark the $120 million residential complex reaching its maximum height of 16 storeys. The project, developed by Crown International Holdings, in Cowper Street, has 242 apartments and townhouses, a sauna and gym, and 25-metre swimming pool. The company said 90 per cent of the units had been sold.

Newington. November start for $120m project

Sydney apartment developer, Crown International, plans to commence comstruction of a $120 million, 183-apartment project, at Newington, in November… The project will comprise three blocks, each of four storeys, along with a pool, gym and some reatilaing, according to The Australia Financial Review. The company is building the 16-storey, 242-apartment Gallery by Crown complex, in Cowper Street, Harris Park..
