Parramatta. Tender called soon

Parramatta City Council says an invitation to tender for the transport study of the Western Sydney Light Rail feasibility study will be release shortly along with commissions for economic, social, environmental and land use studies, and a communications package.

Parramatta. Tenders for project

Parramatta City Council has called for tenders for the development of council land (0.5 hectares) on and adjacent to the Lennox Bridge car park, in the CBD, for high quality residential apartments on the riverfront. As part of the development, council requires facilities in the form of a “discovery centre”, multi-functional spaces, associated retail and public domain.

Parramatta. Sydney Water issues tender

Parramatta-based Sydney Water has issued a tender for the supply of electricity to over 1100 sites, ranging from treatment plants to reservoirs and depots, from October 2012. “Sydney Water is one of the largest users of electricity within the NSW,” said MD, Dr Kerry Schott.

Liverpool. For sale by public tender

A 6-level building, leased with 98 per cent of its NLA 8825 to Housing NSW and blue chip tenants, at 33 Moore Street, Liverpool, is for sale by public tender, on March 23, under instructions from receivers. Net passing income is approximately $2.5 million per year.

Enfield. Sydney Ports $150m tender

Sydney Ports Corporation is seeking expressions of interest for the construction of its $150 million intermodal facility, at Enfield, on a site which it purchased in 2001. The aim of the facility is to relieve Port Botany of congestion and hundred of empty freight containers, according to The Australian Financial review. Work could commence in March 2009 and when competed the facility could have an end value of $500 million, Jones Lang LaSalle said.

Shuttle bus tender accepted

Parramatta City Council has accepted the tender of $341,78.22 (GST excluded) for three years submitted by Veolia Transport Pty Ltd, for the operation of a free weekly shuttle bus service in the Parramatta CBD, and the optional Saturday service, with two extensions on one year each.
